1. a door taken from the architectural remnants of a north carolina plantation home, then topped with glass and placed on wooden stands.
2. a genius and sustainable idea.
3. the place where our lovely wedding photographer edits her magic photos and sends me sweet emails.
isn't this just the coolest? i'm inspired.

ReplyDeleteI used to live in an old plantation house here in NC, small world! I'm so in love with anything old like that...and used in such a genius way! Finding old doors and windows like that out here isn't too difficult, I think I'm going to try it out, next opportunity :)

I have wanted one of these every since I saw the idea used at a local bar that my friend owns. He has two upstairs and uses them for bigger parties for dinner. LOVE IT! I wanted it for my dining room/kitchen but I think the desk option is the best yet! ECO-AWESOME!

growing up, this is the kind of desk we had as kids....only the door was flat and there wasn't any glass...and it was held up with cinder blocks on each side so we had little cubbies for our things....
