in the glow.

here are some pictures i've taken lately... the summer light makes photography so much fun.

Boat on the dock.
we spent lots of time on the water this weekend... and i got a hundred new freckles.

stoop of flowers.
if we had a stoop, i would be copying this whole scene... so sweetly messy, don't you think? :)

Emmett at sunset.
we savored the sunset on the dock with the dogs. heaven.

Soft light in the evening.
it's true what they say: the grass is greener (in maine).

simon water skied like a champ and didn't tease me (too much) for wimping out.

He likes drawing.
sometimes simon likes to draw. on this particular evening, he was designing a piece of furniture for our condo. so handy...

love love love.
we also spent a fanciful and delicious evening at a new french restaurant in our neighborhood. we've decided we want to become regulars. bon appétit!

i hope you all had a wonderful (long) weekend too.
