call me crazy, but i'd be perfectly happy if i woke up tomorrow and it was august.

don't get me wrong... i love the summer: new freckles, corn on the sob, water that looks like the color of blueberries... but july is going to be a crazy busy month, and honestly, i'd rather just skip it. what can i say? i'm a wimp.

the other night, simon and i went canoeing, and i let my fingers dip into the water as we floated along. it was such a refreshing, calming feeling; i suddenly realized just how precious these little moments are, and i'm crazy to wish my life away.

    You can almost hear the waves in these photos. Can you hear the water all day and night long? Good luck with your July ... I am loading up my calendar for the fall and taking a little vacation for July ... the calm before the storm. If only we had 9 days in the week instead of 7!

    Nina, these photos are absolutely gorgeous!!!
    I love the beginning of a new month. It's a manifestation of my absolute love of beginnings. Plus, summer is (next to Spring) my favorite season!
    I hope that July is easy on you, and that you have time to enjoy the beautiful weather and have more days like the one where you took these photos!

    I feel this way about my workout routine- I want it done, but I would like to skip through the actual doing of it. I think in this case, wishing 2 hours away might not be so bad, haha.
